My name is Andrew Hernandez and I am a San Jose State Alumni, graduated class of 2026. Based out of Reid-Hillview Airport (KRHV), I have been flying since the Fall of 2023, and since then have completed up to and including my Certified Flight Instructor license. Through my time flying, I have had plenty of real world experiences, not limited to but including flying across the country multiple times, as well as navigating busy areas such as San Francisco and Los Angeles.

As a flight instructor, my goal is not to only help you obtain your ratings, but to also help you find the joy in aviation as well. Throughout training, I am still continuing to perfect my craft, working on my CFI-I with the goal to eventually obtain my Multi Engine Instructor License and my Gold Seal. Through my instruction, I aim to make flight training not only effective and enjoyable, but cost efficient as well.

In the end, I aim to help pilots develop a sense of safety and confidence in their craft, as well as the motivation to continue to improve, whether it be on their own or under my instruction.
